2ND DAY Arenal Volcano National Park Hike at El Silencio Trail (Optional Tabacon Hot Springs & Buffet Dinner, $139)

After breakfast, morning free to enjoy Mountain Paradise Hotel and the amazing surroundings. This is the adventure capital of Costa Rica so take advantage to explore the possibilities: Zip line tour, white water rafting, stand up addling on Lake Arenal, Sky Tram Tour or the exciting Canyoning Tour!

Later this afternoon be ready for your guided hike tour on El Silencio Trail in the National Park of Arenal Volcano. After the tour you’ll be dropped off back at your hotel. Evening free. Meals: B

Optional Tour to Costa Rica’s # 1 attraction - Tabacon Hot Springs:

For guests purchasing this optional tour you’ll be taken directly after the volcano hike to the soothing Garden of Eden like setting of Tabacon Hot Springs. Enjoy the maze of thermal waters flowing through cascades, pools, waterfalls followed by a sumptuous buffet dinner all at the footsteps of this active volcano, then return transfer to your hotel. The waters here are soothing. Bring you bathing suit! Comfortable changing rooms, lockers and towels provided to guests. Meals: D

3RD DAY ARENAL / SAN RAMON – CLOUD FOREST

Today departure to the magical cloud forest lodge, Hotel Villa Blanca located just an 1 ½ hour away with your private transfer in beautiful San Ramon. Check in to another world at Villa Blanca. Welcome cocktail and orientation, then settle in to your lovely casita. You’ll be charmed by the thoughtful amenities especially the wood burning fireplace right in your room.
Evening free to enjoy Villa Blanca’s El Sendero Restaurant, bar, lounge and cinema. (your stay includes VIP movie passes at the private theatre.) Meals: B

4TH DAY HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR & GUIDED CLOUD FOREST NATURE WALK

After breakfast guides will lead you through a magical garden trail to a thriving green house, a scientific research station operated by INBIO (The National Institute of Biodiversity) and a charming little Chapel with historical value since it was built by a former Costa Rican President in tribute to his beloved wife. After the tour rainforest chefs will be serving you a culinary classic in Costa Rica – a true Campesino lunch. High in flavor and low fat proteins and packed with grains, beans and organic vegetables some of which are cultivated in the hotel’s greenhouse.
This afternoon saddle up for a 2 hour scenic Horse Back Riding tour. The grounds surrounding Villa Blanca are perfect for exploring nature from the vantage point of the saddle. No experience necessary! Evening free.

5TH DAY SAN RAMON / MANUEL ANTONIO

After breakfast private transfer to Costa Rica's rich central pacific coast and to the unique charm and spirit found at the deluxe Hotel Si como No.

6TH DAY MANUEL ANTONIO: Santa Juana Rural Tour

After breakfast we are off to experience the magic of nature and enjoy a unique part of Costa Rican rural heritage. The Santa Juana Mountain Adventure! Takes you along the lush, jungle-shrouded slopes of the Fila Chonta Mountains where the Rodeo, Coto and Paquita rivers are born. See the rushing mountain streams that feed these rivers on their journey to the Pacific Ocean and enjoy a refreshing swim beneath mesmerizing waterfalls. You’ll also see fascinating regional wildlife, including a myriad of birds. You will visit an authentic sugar mill plantation and enjoy a real Costa Rican lunch.

We return back to Si como No for a good night rest. Evening free. Meals:  B, L

7TH DAY MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK

Early this morning after breakfast get ready for our visit to Manuel Antonio National Park (Park close Mondays)

Manuel Antonio National Park, it’s absolutely unforgettable. Take a leisurely hike with a highly trained, well-educated Costa Rican naturalist guide through exotic, bio-diverse tropical rain forest preserved in this 34 year old national treasure, Manuel Antonio National Park.

Watch sloths and numerous species of monkeys travel through the tree canopy, track nocturnal silky anteaters and several types of monkeys or iguanas resting in the tropical rain forest, and listen to the songs of the various birds as they chirp above your group, curiously. And if we are lucky, we might spot one of the only 1,000 remaining endangered Mono Titi or squirrel monkey, which live in only one location in the world, here in Manuel Antonio National Park biological corridor.

So much can be seen here in a span of just 2 w1/2 hours! Hike through the trails and enjoy unspoiled, un-crowded, pristine beaches after your guided trip. Then there is time free for independent activities. You can explore on your own, go to a seaside restaurant for (lunch not included) or return to your hotel for relaxation. Meals:  B

8TH DAY MANUEL ANTONIO / SAN JOSE
